*Aug. 20. Thomas Robert, son of Mancel, sells the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and Master Roger de Molins, represented by frère Nicolas hospitalier, a casale called Beaude for 1500 besants and an annual cense of 200 besants, assigned on houses in Latakia and Antioch. The sale is confirmed by Rainaud seigneur de Margat, from whom the casale is held, and by Prince Bohemond III of Antioch, on condition that the casale will be occupied by frère Nicolas hospitalier and that after his death it will belong to the Order. Bohemond’s confirmation is accompanied by the gift of [a rent of] 200 besants, to be drawn from the commercium [commerce] at Latakia.
