Jean abbot of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat and Eve abbess of St Lazarus of Bethany confirm an exchange of lands, situated in the casalia of Aschar and Balathas, which had been orally agreed by Pierre, abbot of St Mary, and Judith, the daughter of King Baldwin II and abbess of St Lazarus. They agree that there will be 2 charters, one, sealed by Eve, to be held by the abbey of St Mary and the other, sealed by Jean, to be held in the convent of St Lazarus. Witnesses: of the monks, Guimaudus prior; Willelmus de Sicilia cellerarius; Stephanus elemosinarius; Mattheus Anglicus; Petrus cantor; Petrus sacrista; of the nuns, Odelina priorissa; Milisent; Osanna; Alexandrina precentrix; Ermengardis; of the burgenses, Robertus de Pincheneio; Galfridus Toronensis; Johannes Reimundi; and others.
