Apr. 9. Lateran. Pope Alexander III informs the patriarchs of Jerusalem and Antioch and all the clergy in the East that he has granted the archbishop of Genoa the powers of a legate [with respect to the oversight of Genoese churches in the East], if he travels to the East once every 8 years in company with another papal legate.
