Baldwin, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex sextus, with the agreement of his sister Sibilla Ioppenensis et Ascalonensis comitissa, confirms under seal the sale for 4500 besants to his uncle and senescalcus comes Iocelinus by Petronilla Acconensis vicecomitissa, with the agreement of her sons Bauduinus and Clarenbaudus, and of Hodierna, the wife of Bauduinus, of the casalia called Samueth and Sophie with all their villani and also of houses in the royal castle [castellum] called Castellum Novum, together with all her vineyards and possessions in the castle and its territory. The king adds that these properties are to be held without service [sine servitio].
