Nov. 13. Acre. Baldwin, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex sextus, confirms under seal the possession by his uncle Ioscelinus senescalcus regis of an assisia, returning annually 1000 besants drawn in the fonda of Acre, which Baldwin’s relation [consanguineus] Philippus Rufus holds for life, until Philippus has fully repaid the 2000 besants for which he pledged the assisia. Ioscelinus must owe the king servitium of 2 milites until Philippus repays the debt. But should Philippus die before repayment, the service of 2 milites will not be demanded until the king himself restores the 2000 besants.
