Apr. 17-30. [180] Bohemond III, Dei gratia princeps Antiochenus, son of Prince Raymond, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and frater Rogerius de Molinis domus Hospitalis magister, represented by frater Alexander domorum Laodicie et Gabuli preceptor. He gives the following homines to the Hospitaller house in Latakia: the Greeks Afanas, Sergius cementarius and his children, Leo costurer, Mambarac and his children, Mambarac corveser, Leo; the Armenians Hanes carnifex, Castor furner, Hanes archer, Hanes faber, Vassilius faber; the Jews Bolcaran, Zao, Bolchae and his brother, Temin, Bolshassen, Stellator; and beyond these, [the Latin] Hugo Straigot. Witnesses: Hugo de Logiis; Philippus frater ejus; Willelmus de Cava; Bernaldus Soberan; Guido de Arest; Johannes de Antiochia; Michael Ruffus. The charter was drawn up by Willelmus clericus, subordinate to Johannes cancellarius.
