Early Jun. – Dec. 24. [192] Frater G. de Ridefort, milicie templi senescalcus, informs frater O[do] de Vendome preceptor in Ierusalem, of decisions relating to Robertus de Surdis Vallibus, who on reaching Tyre had been received there by the preceptor domus. G[erardus] convoked a chapter [capitulum] to Faba, which was attended by more than 100 knights. The chapter sent 5 brother knights [fratres milites] to Tyre, to deprive Robertus of his habit and convey him to Acre, where he was to be confined to a room in isolation [ in camera privatim] until he could be transferred on the first ship on the next passagium.
