Dec. 25 1185 - Sept. 13 1186. [200] Acre. At the will and agreement of Raimundus comes Tripolis et tocius regni procurator, Baldwin, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex septimus, makes a sealed grant to Ioscelinus, his uncle and senescalcus, giving him an annual rent of 400 besants, to be drawn from the funda of Acre for 4 years dating from the next Feast of All Saints, payable in the instalments customary with the funda, the first instalment being at Candlemas. This is in repayment for 1600 besants which Ioscelinus has loaned to the king. If the rent is tithed within the 4 years, Ioscelinus may also recover the cost of the tithe. Witnesses: Milo regius pincerna; Gvalterius Durus marescalcus; Willelmus de Molembecca; Gaufridus Heremita; Gerardus de Luco Plantato; Gilebertus de Flori Acon vicecomes; Willelmus de Furcis; Antellus de Luca. The charter was drawn up by Petrus Lydensis archidiaconus regisque cancellarius.
