Apr. 1-6. On his deathbed Patriarch [Gibelin], Jherosolimitanę servus, asks Baldwin, Jherusalem rex gloriosus, to speak to Arnulfus archidiaconus, summus amicus meus et filius meus, and to protect the Holy Sepulchre. He demands that the canons of the Holy Sepulchre eat together, following the practices at table of good churches, particularly those of Lyon and Reims. He asks the king to see that his last testament is carried out and to confirm its provisions.
