*Winter 1109/1110 - Apr. 6 1112. Hugo, abbot of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, establishes a hospital next to the abbey for the poor and pilgrims, dedicated to St Saviour, funded by a tithe on all St Mary’s goods and supported by a confraternity, the members of which share in the abbey’s prayers and merits. It will feed 13 poor persons on every Feastday of the Apostles and whenever a confrater dies. Another poor person will be fed each day for thirteen days after such a death and on the anniversary each year. Each confrater will provide an eleemosynary subscription of 13 besants a year. The members include domnus Balduinus rex primus; Bernardus episcopus de Nazareth; Guillelmus de Buris; Guido de Miliaco; Goscelinus domnus de Tiberiade; domnus Balianus; and many others.
