With the consent of his wife Ysabelle fille d’Amauri roy de Jerusalem, Anricus Trecensium comes pallatinus makes an eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, represented by the master, frere Geofroi de Donjon. He gives a section of the walls of Acre from the postern [posterula/poterne] that is near the Gate of Gaufredus Tortus as far as the tower that is next to the Gate of St Nicholas, together with all the land [lying alongside the wall] with the barbacan [barbacan/avantmurs] and ditches [fossata/fossés]. He also grants additional land on the right hand side of the tower [of St Nicholas] as far as the river.
