Dec. 25 1197 - Dec. 24 1198. Patriarch [Aymar] Monachus of Jerusalem and the chapter of the Holy Sepuchre write to all the faithful, clergy and laity, in the duchy of Poland. They recount how the late dominus Iaczo visited the church of the Holy Sepulchre and asked that canons should return with him to Poland. A canon went back with him. With the agreement of the dukes, the canons of the Holy Sepulchre were given many properties and liberties, which are listed. They appeal for more alms-giving.
