Mar. 1-31. Acre. Cardinal Soffred of St Praxedis and Cardinal Peter of St Marcellus, the papal legates, record that Bauduinus de Martinsart [who has died] had made an eleemosynary grant to the Knights Templar of a rent of wheat, to be drawn from his property in France. His testament had been witnessed by the nobles Rajnerius de Manni and E. de Manni, who swore to this in the cardinals’ presence. Other witnesses were Hugo de Alneto, Johannes Codart and the noble Johannes de Bielle, who as the lord of B[auduinus] confirmed the gift. The cardinals also confirm the grant.
