*After Sept. Amaury [actually Acharius] maire de la ville d’Antioche, records that in the presence of his court he has put the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in possession of the city of Gibel. This had been given to the Order by Prince Raymond Rupen at a time when it was occupied by the infidels. The place has since been abandoned and in the presence of the court the Order’s banner was raised in the highest point in the city, which was delivered into the hands of frère Joubert châtelain de Margat.
