Dec. 16. Lateran. Pope Honorius III informs the archbishop of Nicosia that he has heard that many chapels and oratories, some of them without endowments, have been built in his diocese with the result that many people are not attending their parish churches. He orders the archbishop to decide which of these chapels and oratories are superfluous and to close those erected without endowments.
