Mar. 4. Anagni. Representatives of King John of Jerusalem have explained in the pope’s presence how certain merchants [mercatores] avoided paying dues to the chatena of Acre by intermingling their goods with those carried by privileged clergy. Pope Honorius III orders the patriarch of Jerusalem to enforce an end to this fraudulent behaviour.
