Henricus comes Ruthenensis, who is gravely ill, confirms under seal his earlier testament [October 18 1221], adding that he wishes his body to be treated by the Hospital as it would one of its brothers. He also leaves the Knights Templar property in France. He leaves the Hospital all the possessions and horses he has in the East. The magister of the Hospital should pay the legacies he has left to his household [familia], with reimbursement from his property in France should the costs exceed what he has in the East.
