Nov. 15. Lateran. Pope Honorius III has heard that the queen of Cyprus is coming to France. He writes to King Louis VIII in the same terms as he wrote to King Philip II, warning him not to hear any case relating to her claims to the county of Champagne, which would involve discussion of the legitimacy of her birth, which is dependent on papal judgement.
