Jul. 27. Lateran. Pope Honorius III informs the chapter of the church of Tarsus [capitulum Tarsensis] that he has met the archbishop-elect and confirmed him in office and has given him licence to use his powers in the church of Antioch until such time as a new patriarch is provided. He orders them to obey their new archbishop.
