Jul. 18-31. San Miniato. Frederick, dei gratia Romanorum imperator semper augustus, Ierusalem et Sicilie rex, records under seal that when frater Hermannus magister sacre domus Hospitalis sancte Marie Theutonicorum in Ierusalem, his fidelis, procured his confirmation of the sale to the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans by comes Otto de Ennenberch, his wife Beatrix, the first born daughter of the late comes Iozcelinus, and their son Otto of the estate of comes Iozcelinus and invested Iacobinus de Amigdala, the son of Agnes the younger daughter of comes Iozcelinus, according to the custom [consuetudo] of the kingdom of Jerusalem with the portion which he inherited from his mother, Iacobinus with Frederick’s licence and in his presence, paid homage [assecuravit] to the Hospital of St Mary for his mother’s inheritance. He agreed to repay to the Hospital of St Mary the money which his father Guillelmus de Amigdala owed his creditors. Witnesses: Geroldus venerabilis patriarcha Ierosolimitanus; Iacobus Acconensis episcopus; Balianus domnus Sydonie; Daniel de Tenderemunde; Iohannes Pisanus; Goffridus de Williers; Guido de Nubie; and others. The charter was drawn up by Symon Tyrensis archiepiscopus regni Ierosolimitani cancellarius.
