text:
Mar. 5. Lateran. Pope Honorius III informs the archbishop of Nicosia that the queen of Cyprus and B., the son of the count of Tripoli, have appealed to the pope against his decision on the illegitimacy of their marriage, made on the basis that their affinity is in the 4th degree of consanguinity, whereas in fact it is in the 5th. Emissaries of the emperor Frederick have interceded with him on their behalf. The pope exonerates the archbishop and releases him from the case, assigning it to the patriarch of Jerusalem and bishop of Acre.
