At the request of frater Gwalterus de Novo Castello magister domus sancti Lazari in Ierusalem and his convent, Frederick, divine favente clementia Romanorum imperator semper augustus Ierusalem et Sicilie rex, confirms under seal for the leprosary of St Lazarus of Jerusalem the charter of Humfredus, son of Hainfredus juvenis [Apr. 21 1183, referring to a rent assigned on the chathena/cathena of Acre]. Witnesses: Balianus domnus Sidonis; Odo de Montebeliard comestabulus; Iohannes de Hibelino; Gwarnerius Alemannus; and others.
