Asked by G. de Monte Acuto crucesignatus and the archbishop of Nicosia to confirm the sentence of excommunication delivered by the patriarch of Jerusalem, the papal legate, against the emperor Frederick, Pope Gregory IX orders the archbishop of Caesarea to make sure it is observed until fitting satisfaction is made.
