[Sept. 26. Perugia. Pope Gregory IX had granted the patriarch of Antioch the papal legation, to be shared with the patriarch of Jerusalem until a legate is sent to the East by the Holy See. The pope assures the patriarch of Antioch that with a legate a latere’s departure he will enjoy full legatine powers.
