Jan. 13. Anagni. Pope Gregory IX has heard that I. de Ybelino has captured Haym. de Aquino, a fidelis of the Roman Church, in a certain castle of the Knights Templar and has imprisoned him there. The pope has asked the king of Cyprus to secure the release of Haym de Aquino and have him sent to the Holy See. He orders the patriarch of Antioch, the papal legate, to persuade the king to compel I. de Ybelino to do so.
