[Feb. 18. Anagni. Pope Gregory IX orders the bishops of Acre and Bethlehem and the archidiaconus Acconensis to examine the accusation against the patriarch of Antioch, the papal legate, that he demanded obedience from the abbas monasterii Jubini, Cisterciensis ordinis, exacted illegal tithes and excommunicated the monks, and also to consider the validity of a judgement against the abbey made by the Tharsensis archiepiscopus and his fellow judges.
