Jun. 10. Lateran. In order to avoid contention and scandal, Pope Gregory IX had ordered that the patriarchs of Jerusalem and Antioch no longer exercise legatine powers over the kingdom of Cyprus. He orders the patriarch of Antioch to be content with the legation within his own patriarchate.
