Apr. 8. Constantius Sancte Quarantene servus confirms that after the death of Eustachius Granerius he and his brothers reminded his widow Ema of the grant to the community in 1116 of the use of water for 24 hours each fortnight. They asked for the water right to be increased to once a week. With the agreement of her sons, Eustachius and Galterius, together with her husband Hugo princeps Joppe, Ema makes an eleemosynary grant, giving the community the use of the water for 24 hours every Saturday. Witnesses: Guarmundus patriarcha; Barisanus; Paganus de Osca; Ysaac, frater Rainaldi de Bruge; Godofridus Flamens; Johannes de Belram; Arnulfus, vicecomes de Jherico, had the charter written and confirmed by Eustachius; Galterius; and Ema’s husband Hugo princeps Joppe.
