Mar. 22. Caesarea. With the agreement of his chapter, P. Cesariensis episcopus makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the leprosary of St Lazarus of Jerusalem, represented by Rainaldus de Flori magister domus leprosorum in Jerusalem. The archbishop gives a house and church at Painperdu, on condition that due obedience is owed to the archbishop, saving the Order’s rule. In recognition of his ordinary jurisdiction, St Lazarus will provide 8 candles [cerei], each of 4 rotulae of wax annually to the cathedral of St Peter of Caesarea.
