Jul. 28. Perugia. Pope Gregory IX orders the preceptor and brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, the magister and brothers of the Knights Templar and the preceptor and brothers of the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans to assist the baiulus and legatus of the emperor Frederick in preserving his rights. If Iohannes de Ybelino and the people of Acre try to besiege Tyre or proceed against any lands in Frederick’s lordship they should oppose them.
