Jan. 19. Teramo. Constantinus dominus de La[m]brono has sought papal protection for himself, his lands, wife, children, household and goods. Pope Gregory IX warns the king and baiulus of [Cilician] Armenia not to harm Constantinus. The pope orders the prince of Antioch, the king of Cyprus and the magistri of the Knights Templar and the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem to assist in case Constantinus should be forced into an action detrimental to the Christians in the region.
