Hearing the much of the money left for the redemption of Christian captives held by the Sarraceni is being held back, Pope Gregory IX orders the patriarch of Jerusalem, the papal legate, the bishop of Acre, the patriarch of Antioch and the bishop of Tripoli to force the release of the money and to account to the papacy for this.
