Frere Lutold grant comandeor de la maison de l’Ospital de Nostre Dame des Alemans de J[erusalem e en loc] dou maistre, records under the seal of his chapter, that that he has seen 2 charters of King B. of Jerusalem, granting the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem a rent of 2 kyntars of sugar, drawn from the casale of la Noye, deliverable each Easter and made up from elsewhere should the sugar fail. The Hospital of St Mary of the Germans has bought the casale, but he confirms, with the agreement of his chapter, that frere Bertram de Comps, maistre, and the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem should continue to receive the 2 kyntals of sugar each year from the casale of Lanoye for the needs of the sick.
