Feb. 8. A truce, negotiated by the Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem, agreed with the sultan of Egypt and sworn by conte Richart de Cornoaille, grants the Christians the territories already ceded by the sultan of Damascus and frees the Christian prisoners-of war taken at Gaza in 1239.
