*Beginning of Jun. Acre. As one of the terms of her assumption of the bailliage of the kingdom of Jerusalem, Queen Alice of Cyprus, together with her husband mesire Raoul de Saissons, agree that the seignor de Baruth and Phelippe de Montfort seignor de Toron should hold and maintain the kingdom’s fortresses until King Conrad should arrive. This was negotiated and drawn up by Phelippe de Novaire and a burgess called Phelippe de Bauduyn.
