February 22. Lyons. Pope Innocent IV writes to the patriarch of Jerusalem and papal legate (Robert de Nantes), ordering him to restore to the bishop-elect of Bethlehem G[ottifredo dei Prefetti] or his agent the goods alienated by the bishop-elect of Paphos Giovanni Romano or two or three of the canons of Bethlehem, when Giovanni was claiming to be bishop-elect of Bethlehem, no matter who is found to have those goods, whether religious of any order or secular, which alienations the pope has declared null and void, notwithstanding privileges and indulgences of the Apostolic See.
