July 23. Lyons. Pope Innocent IV writes to the archdeacon of Antioch and canons of Antioch, Pierre of Angoulême and Master Gerard, ordering to have the archbishop-elect of Caesarea paid up to one hundred silver marks annually, including the incomes of his archbishopric and the prebend he has in the church of Antioch, using money from some monasteries in the church and diocese of Acre, for as long as it pleases the pope, notwithstanding if those monasteries are overburdened with papal provisions or any indulgences to the contrary.
