March 31. Ind. VI. Acre. In the church of St Peter of the Pisans. Benencasa, quondam Leonardi Cascinensis filius, imperial judge and notary declares by order of Guido de Sancto Cassiano quondam Galli, consul comunis Pisanorum Accon et totius Syrie, to have seen and transcribed the privilege of Tebaldus, bishop of Acre (12 October 1200: RRH 775 and RRR 1475) in the presence of Robertus Tornuli, Gontulinus de Ponte, the notary Ugolinus quondam Bandini and other witnesses. He also describes Tebaldus’s appended lead seal: on one side a cross flanked by the moon and the sun, surrounded by the inscription: + HOC SIGNUM CRUCIS ERIT IN CELO + and on the other a bishop with a pastoral staff in his left hand surrounded by the inscription: + SIGILLUM TEOBALDI ACONENSIS EPISCOPI +
