March 31. Ind. VI. Acre. In the church of St Peter of the Pisans. Benencasa, quondam Leonardi Cascinensis filius, imperial judge and notary declares by order of Guido de Sancto Cassiano quondam Galli, consul comunis Pisanorum Accon et totius Syrie, to have seen and transcribed the privilege issued by Frederick II (21-30 April 1229: RRH 1005 and RRR 2116) in the presence of Robertus Tornuli, Guntolinus de Ponte, the notary Ugolinus quondam Bandini and other witnesses. He also describes the appended gold seal: on one side a city surrounded by the inscription: + ROMA CAPUT MUNDI REGIT ORBIS FRENA ROTUNDI, and on the other the image of a seated emperor holding a cross in his right hand and an orb in the left with on the left the inscription REX IERUSALEM and on the right SICILIE and around the edge + FRIDERICUS DEI GRATIA ROMANORUM IMPERATOR ET SEMPER AUGUSTUS
