May 29. Lateran. Pope Honorius II, at the request of Guillelmus Tirensis archiepiscopus and Rogerius Ramensis episcopus, who have reminded him of the achievement of Duke Godfrey [of Bouillon] and King Baldwin I, extends the same recognition of the kingship of Baldwin II that his predecessor Pope Paschal II accorded to King Baldwin I and to the church of Jerusalem. He commends to King Baldwin II Count Fulk of Anjou, who has decided to leave for the East.
