July 21. Lyons. Pope Innocent IV writes to the [cardinal-]bishop of Tusculum (Frascati) and papal legate (Eudes de Châteauroux), granting him the free power to give dispensations to four nobles or others of his legation so that they can legally marry persons related to them in the fourth degree of consanguinity or affinity, or, if they have already married, so that they can remain married, if he deems it expedient for the Church and the business of the Holy Land.
