July 28. Lyons. Innocent IV writes to the bishops of Acre and Lydda, relating that the chaplain of the cardinal-priest of Santa Sabina H[ugues de Saint-Cher], Master Filippo, wishes, he asserts, to resign the prebend that he possesses in the church of Jubayl (Byblos), so the pope orders the addressees to accept the resignation and assign the prebend to Filippo’s nephew Niccolò, a student, as long as no prejudice arises for anyone else with papal letters for the prebend.
