May 4. Garssie Alvarez, lord of Haifa (Cayphas), with the consent of his wife Heluis lady of Haifa (Cayphas) grants in perpetual alms to abbot Gauvain and the church of Monte Thabour the land below the old vines of house of S. Helies dou Carme, extending to the vineyard of Agis, and thence to the ‘cave’ of the Templars and on the road below the cistern that leads to S. Marguerite dou Carme; the road should remain free for coming and going. Sealed with his lead seal and witnessed by his homes: Guillaume Carcar, Balian Antiaume, Johan Coste, Renaut le Juene.
