Pope Innocent IV writes to Archbishop Niccolò [Lercari] of Tyre, responding to his request by granting that he can have the cross carried before him throughout the province of Tyre as his predecessors were accustomed to doing, notwithstanding the legation or presence of the patriarch of Jerusalem [Robert de Nantes].
