. July 3. Perugia. Pope Innocent IV writes to the master and brothers of the knighthood of the Temple of Jerusalem, relating that, since their order was established of old against the perfidy of the pagans, they should abstain from injuring Catholics and ecclesiastical persons, so he orders them not to harass the bishop, canons and clerics of Tortosa (Tartus) or their men in their persons and things.
