. July 29. Perugia. Pope Innocent IV writes to King [Henry I] of Cyprus, lord of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, granting that no papal delegate, subdelegate, executor or conservator, nor even an ordinary judge, can excommunicate him or place his lands or the royal chapel under interdict, without a special mandate of the Apostolic See making full and explicit mention of this indulgence. Valid for five years.
