Pope Innocent IV writes to the bishop of Tripoli, granting him the full faculty of absolving those who arrive in the port of Tripoli from anywhere who are bound by the chain of excommunication for laying violent hands on clerics and, if the perpetrators are clerics, giving dispensations for any irregularity they may have incurred because of it, once what should be enjoined on them de iure has been, and provided that they do fitting satisfaction to the victims. Valid for three years.
