May 17. Lateran. Alexander writes to the master and brothers of the Hospital of Jerusalem, relating that he was read their petition that claimed that at one time the pope granted them the monastery of Mt Tabor with all the lands, possessions, houses, people, rights, liberties, immunities, and appurtenances belonging to the monastery in any way, and afterwards they came into possession of the above on papal authority. The pope responds to their request by granting that no papal letters, indulgences, or graces given to anyone can generate prejudice for the above or any other papal grant made to them.
