*June 20. Anagni. The abbot of the abbey of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat has come to Rome to oversee his appeal against the dean of the church of Jaffa over certain tithes. Pope Alexander IV orders the archdeacon of Lydda and the treasurer of Beirut to be objective about the rights of the abbot after his departure from Rome.
