In the presence of Philip Lamberti and Tancleri de Moro, consuls of Genoa, Ugo Embriacus, the son of Nicolas Embriacus, swears an oath that his brother Obertus had already sworn; namely to protect and defend the life of his relation [consanguineus] Guillielmus Embriacus, his heirs and his brother Aggenorius and his possession of the honour [honor] of Gibelettum and any other property he acquires overseas.
